    Flip the “Developer mode” switch in the top-right corner.

    Click “Load unpacked” and choose the extracted folder.

    Go to chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode.

    Drag the .crx file onto the extensions page.

    Approve the prompt. If Chrome refuses CRX installs, use the ZIP track instead.

Before you start

Which package should I choose?
Chrome ZIP for Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi. Firefox XPI for Firefox. The signed CRX is for policy installs and stable extension ids.
Do I need Developer mode?
Yes for the ZIP and CRX tracks on Chrome — that is how Chrome loads an extension from a file rather than from a store.
Will it keep itself updated?
Filter lists refresh every six hours. Releases arrive from a signed update feed.
How do I remove it?
Delete it from chrome://extensions or about:addons. Nothing is left behind on your machine or anywhere else.
